作者簡介:1934年生於南京。畢業於臺灣省立師範大學藝術系（現為國立師範大學），為戰史畫家梁中銘之女。幼承家學，經名師指導奠定深厚基礎。專攻人物、花鳥及山水，作畫取材生活及旅遊所見風俗人物，而以國畫技法繪製，寓現代精神於筆墨之中。歷次應邀參加全國美展、省展等。作品入藏國內各大博物館，以及國內外收藏家。兩度赴菲講學，1985年赴美進修。多次赴歐美日韓等地考察美術教育及國際學術會議。曾任國立臺灣師範大學美術系主任、所長及藝術學院院長，期間籌立臺師大美術研究所，獻身美術教育逾半世紀。退休後，國內外旅遊寫生，創作不輟。

作者英文簡介:Liang Shiow-Chung, daughter of war history painter Liang Chung-Ming, was born in Nanjing in 1934. Liang graduated in Fine Arts from Taiwan Provincial Teachers College (now National Taiwan Normal University). In her youth, Liang was deeply influenced by her father's talent, and developed a sound foundation in arts under the guidance of renowned masters. She specializes in human figures, flower-and-bird paintings, and landscapes. Liang’s paintings are often inspired by people and customs she has seen in her life and travels. Created with traditional Chinese painting techniques, her brush and ink paintings are imbued with a modern spirit. Her works have been displayed at numerous national and provincial art exhibitions, and many of them are housed in major museums in Taiwan as well as in the collections of domestic and overseas collectors. Liang has twice given lectures in the Philippines, and in 1985 traveled to the United States for further training. Liang has attended many fine arts education and international academic conferences in Europe, the Americas, Japan, and Korea. She has served as chair of the Department of Fine Arts and dean of the College of Arts at National Taiwan Normal University (during which time she established NTNU's Graduate Institute of Fine Arts), dedicating herself to fine arts education over half a century. Retied, she continues to create, drawing on her travels in Taiwan and overseas for inspiration.
