2.1992年台灣各校的研究社與台語文社經過路線與運動觀的討論，於1992年5月正式成立「學生台灣語文促進會」，9月創刊《台語學生》 (1992-1995)。1999年促進會開始使用「TGB」，於台東布農部落舉辦第3屆全國高中生台語生活營後，為了與參加營隊的高中生維持聯絡，也為鼓舞大家繼續寫和讀台文，於10月創辦月刊《TGB 通訊》。「TGB」是「Tâi-gú B äng」（台語網／夢）的縮寫。《TGB 通訊》為台文的左派刊物，除了政治評論與運動批判性質的文章外，有時會刊登散文和小說等文學作品。《TGB 通訊》使用台灣羅馬字（教會羅馬字），A5版面，每期頁數不固定。剛開始主編是陳德樺，第29期開始到現在主編是Tōa-thâu-liân 負責。剛開始屬內部通訊，後來擴大到TGB 以外的朋友。2002年架設網站，後來便以網路傳播為主。內容編排方面，開始是全羅與漢羅對照，後來改用漢羅為主。第61期（2004年10月）開始改版為台語與華語對照，第84期（2006年9月）後開始收純華語的文章。

Description:Following discussions in 1992 by Taiwan school research groups and Taiwanese language societies on how to approach the subject, in May 1992 the “TGB Student Taiwanese Language Promotion Association” was formally created and in September began publishing the Taiwanese Student (1992-1995). In 1999 the Association began using the title “TGB” and after holding the third all-Taiwan senior high school “Taiwanese Language Life Camp” among Taichung Bunun tribe, in order to maintain contact with participants and to encourage everybody to continue writing and reading the Taiwanese language, the monthly TGB Report was begun in October. “TBG” is an abbreviation for “ Tâi-gú Bäng (Taiwanese language network/dream). TGB Report is a leftwing Taiwanese language publication. In addition to political commentary and critical articles on political movements, it sometimes prints literary items, like essays and short stories. TGB Report uses Taiwan Romanization (Church Romanization), is printed on A5 paper and issues are of varying length. In the very beginning the editor was Chen Dehua and since Issue No. 29 it has been Tōa-thâu-liân. At first this was an internal publication but later expanded to include friends outside TGB. In 2002 a website was created and became the primary channel for dissemination. At the outset the text was side-by-side full Romanization and Romanization with Chinese characters, later Romanization with Chinese characters became the standard. With Issue No. 61 (October 2004) this changed to a bi-lingual text using Taiwanese and Chinese and after Issue No. 84 (September 2006) the publication began to accept articles in pure Chinese.
