其他說明:1.上有家屬貼標籤紙說明.洪炎秋先生全家福（二代）及其母親丁氏.當時任職於台中師範學院校長,攝於校長宿舍前.
2.1946年5月，原本在中國北平教書的洪炎秋，帶著二百多名被日本政府徵調至中國的台灣軍屬，由天津坐船，輾轉回到台灣；隨後受聘師範學院（今「台師大」），未及上課，即被調任台中師範（今「台中教育大學」）校長。洪炎秋任職台中師範的時間很短。1947年「二二八」發生，即因被誣陷而遭撤職，後雖獲平反，卻也從此離開台中師範。此幀攝於台中師範校長宿舍門前的照片，正是這短暫任期的紀念。照片中坐者為洪炎秋母親丁鵬女士，右二洪炎秋、右一次子洪鐵生，左二洪夫人關國藩、左一小女兒洪小如。

Description:In May 1946, Hong Yanqiu, who had been teaching in Beijing, took over 200 Taiwanese soldiers who had been requisitioned and sent to China by the Japanese back to Taiwan by ship via Tianjin. Subsequently Hong was offered an appointment at Provincial Taiwan Normal College (now National Taiwan Normal University) but before he could take up his duties was sent to Taichung Normal College (now National Taichung University of Education) as Dean.
Hong spend very little time as Dean at Taichung Normal College. When the February 28 Incident broke out in 1947 he was framed and removed from office. Although he was later rehabilitated, he left the school. This picture was taken in front of the Dean’s Residence and is a memento of this very short period. Seated in the photo is Hong’s mother, Ding Peng, second from the right is Hong Yanqiu, to the right of him is his second son, Hong Tiesheng, second from the left is Mrs. Hong, Guan Guofan and left of her is youngest daughter Hong Xiaoru.
