Description:The inaugural issue of Chien Kun Poetry Quarterly appeared in the late 1990s. The Chairman was veteran writer Zhou Bonai and advisors included Pin Moren, Ji Xuan, Anonymous, Hu Pinqing, Long Guanjun, and Hua Binglou. The “inaugural editorial” for the first issue unambiguously revealed ten “tenets of the Chien Kun Poetry Quarterly. These included “We respect all schools of poetry, for they mean freedom for poets to create,” “We oppose all schools of poetry, for they may limit creative space,” “There is only one distinction in poetry—good and bad. There is no difference between New and Old,” “We like modern (New) poetry, and we also appreciate traditional (Old) poetry.” This was a poetry journal friendly to both modern and traditional poetry that included criticism and translations of international literature.

2.《乾坤詩刊》創刊於九○年代末期，由資深作家周伯乃擔任社長，聘墨人、紀弦、無名氏、胡品清、龍冠軍、畫餅樓主等人為顧問。創刊號之「代發刊詞」明白揭示「乾坤詩刊信條」10條，其中包括「我們尊重各種流派，因為那是詩人創作的自由」、「我們反對一切流派，因為那會侷限創作的空間」、「詩只有好壞的分別，沒有新舊的差異」、「喜歡現代（新）詩，也欣賞傳統（舊詩）」等，是一份兼融現代詩與傳統詩、包含評論及世界文學譯介的詩刊。
