其他說明:〈赤道與太陽〉是中日文詩集，1920-30年代完成日文版，到了1970年代後期才由詩人自譯為中文。一個台灣文學史上原本陌生的名字，默默的寫下具有生命能量的新詩，詩中充滿了憧憬豐富的人生與熱烈的愛情，希望自己能勇敢反叛，但終於身陷殖民地小鎮現實的泥沼，苦惱而徬徨。張建墻的詩，可以看見台灣知識分子一種蒼白卻堅持理想而活著的典型。

Description:The Equator and the Sun is a bilingual Japanese/Chinese poetry collection. The Japanese version was completed and published in the 1920s and only translated in the late 1970s by the poet himself. A name originally unknown to the history of Taiwan literature quietly writes vigorous, vital New Poetry full of a longing for a bright future and a fervent affection, hoping he will be able to bravely rebel—but in the end he sinks into the mire of the reality of a small, colonial village, tormented and hesitant. In Zhang’s poetry one can see a typical example of a Taiwan intellectual—feeble in many ways yet steadfastly living by his ideals.
