Description:Literary Trends is edited by the ROC Qingxi New Literature and Art Society and is a comprehensive quarterly publication featuring literary discussion, reports and creative writing. With its inaugural issue following the 1977 Nativist Literary Debate, its founding principles stated that the publication “rooted in the traditional literary trends of our country, will explore and analyze current worldwide literary trends” in the hope of establishing “a new orthodoxy that will blend the new and the old, sufficient to encourage the betterment of human nature. This orthodoxy will most certainly be Chinese, of the Chinese people, but it will retain its sense of the contemporary, its commonality, and its global nature. (Yin Xueman, “Inaugural statement”)

其他說明:《文學思潮》由「中華民國青溪新文藝學會」主編，為一綜合文學論述、文學報導與創作之季刊，創刊於1977年鄉土文學論戰之後，其創刊宗旨在於「站在我國文學思潮的傳統上，來探究、分析當前全世界的文學思潮」，期能樹立「一種結合新舊的、足以鼓勵人性向上的新道統，這個道統絕對是中國的、中華民族的，但卻不失其時代性、共同性與世界性」（尹雪曼〈發刊詞〉）。
