Description:The “rhythm of the pulse” explains the three aspirations of this poetry society: “Carry on the tradition of Chinese poetry,” “Explore the origins and development of poetry,” “With a meticulous and sincere attitude take the pulse of poetry.” The “Editor’s Notes” further make clear the reasons behind the formation of the society: “We see that right now, although there are numberless poetry societies and a plethora of poetry publications, the doors of each and every society are tightly shut and the doctrines strict so that poets hesitate to move forward and there is no road to take. Thus we have banded together to travel our own road….we wholeheartedly welcome more people to travel this road with us.”
