Introduction：Atlas of the Republic of China: The Map of The Republic of China, Vol. 5, was edited by Zhang Qiyun and published in red hardback in 1962 by Institute of Defense Analysis (in collaboration with Institute of Geography). It is a very old book with many indexing tabs attached onto the pages to classify the content for easy navigating the pages of the atlas. The book shows a lot of wear and tear, indicating that President Chiang had read the atlas numerous times.
