According to its modeling, the sculptor modeled on a picture taken in March 1948 when Chiang Kai-shek assumed the first constitutional president of the Republic of China. Chiang Kai-shek, in glowing spirits, dressed in a long robe and a mandarin jacket and wore a sash with an Order of Brilliant Jade.
Sun Dianheng is a sculptor from the mainland. He has made statues of the Sun Yat-sen, Chiang Kai-shek, and Chen Shui-bian.
