Introduction:The sugar bowl and milk can are glass containers covered with silver alloyed with nickel, sided with a handle for easy to handle, and have similar decorative patterns to those of the pot, but the pot's patterns are larger. The sugar bowl is bowl-shaped.
Currently, there are some sugar residuals left in the sugar bowl and somethings resembling coffee or water stains left in the milk can and the spoons. According to registration records, the stains have been there when the silver plated coffee set was delivered to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. But we have actually interviewed a number of attendants, especially the household personnel, and they all said that the situation was unlikely to happen. When we asked that if the stains were left intentionally as a memorial, attendants also flatly denied such a possibility. In addition, when we interviewed the person responsible for accepting the gifts, he didn’t recall any particular impression about the stains and was only doubtful.
