Introduction:Written by Liu Zi-ying, recording Chiang Ching-kuo’s "Remembrance at Meitai", it is not four separate pieces, but in sequence.
There is a pavilion named "Meitai Siqin" In Fuxing District, Taoyuan. After President Chiang Kai-shek’s death, Ching-kuo went to the pavilion from Cihu everyday during the mourning period to pay his respects. Every time he stopped at this pavilion, he thought of his father with mixed feelings. So “Remembrance at Meitai” was written. Filled with temperament and emotions, it is deeply moving. There is a sentence that says, "The peak of the green hills, the endless sky and white clouds, and the sorrowful heart. There is a sense of realm and spirituality, wisdom and reason. When I leave Meitai, this heart is still intimate. Such that I shall name the pavilion, Siqin.".
