Introduction：Chung Soon-Long (1974–), born in Hualien, Taiwan, uses photography to convert and re struc ture the microscopic aspec t of everyday life and explore the presentational possibilities of substances in the spatial dimension of images.
The series, Still Life Practice, aims to interpret the existence of substances through still vegetables. The photographer constantly used his hands to move and pile up the objects placed in the framed space during the period of long exposure as a way to convert the reality of objects between existence and disappearance, namely, turning their real existence into an illusion in time and space.
