Introduction:Lee Yung-two adopts the photographic fisheye perspective in this work to portray a scene overlooking Mt. Guanyin in Bali from the Tamsui Harbor. Intense brushstrokes constitute the dark night, which forms a complete circle together with the dense view of the harbor around the image surrounding Tamsui River and Mt. Guanyin bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Colorful clouds delineated in blue, red and yellow transform into swimming whales and fish in the sky, submerging into the Tamsui River that reflects the sunset. In the distance, gray-white mountain mist rolling across the mountain side of Mt. Guanyin slowly flows and surges between the mountain ridges. This phenomenon is known as "Mt. Guanyin Puffs Mist," which is one of the famous "Eight Views of Tamsui." Having lived for years in Tamsui, Lee incorporates personal observation and experience of the local scene into his representation of the meteorological spectacle celebrated by the ancients.
