Colorful fruits and vegetables and distinctive red and white water bottle are seen on a table covered in a blue and orange cloth. The light purple background provides bright contrast. The entire work is lively, which is quite difficult to achieve in still life paintings. Large blocks of primary colors are a testament to this artist's skill. The colors used to depict the melons and fruits, water bottle, tablecloth and wall are bright and eye-catching. This artist ingeniously developed a balance between warm and cool colors and created an alternative view of Austronesian hospitality.
