This artist completed this painting, Fish, at the age of 24. The colors are simple without detailed light and shadow. It seems that this artist desired to emphasize the five flat deep sea fish arranged in a circle. The dark green taro leaves separate the fish from the reddish brown table. This seems to be a monotone scene, but it contains a deeper meaning of the cycle of life and death.
