1999
Length:72.5 x Width:91 (cm)
Before the spring plowing, this paddy looks like a bright mirror, reflecting the daylight and clouds. There is smoke emerging from the chimney of a simple farmhouse. In this Nihonga work is a strong Eastern charm. However, Western-style Impressionist light esthetics have also been incorporated. At the same time, Moreover, several egrets have been drawn on watercolor paper. These present an Eastern poetic quality and beautiful elegance.
