The ocher Guanyin Mountain stands watch in the distance, forming a frame with the dark green coconut tree. The vermillion waters and brick chapel of the Tamsui Presbyterian Church, as well as the white cement buildings, echo the white clouds leisurely floating above the summit in the distance.
In this landscape painting, the colors and spatial arrangement create variation and complexity. There is both hardness and softness. Neat and tidy color blocks are ingeniously overturned by this artist. The light and shadows reflect his emotions and are thought-provoking.
