The artist exquisitely portrayed the magnificence of these birds including their crests. Sapphire blue was used in the resplendent fan-like tail of the peacock standing on the rock. This scene is vivid and lifelike, as well as beautiful and elegant. It also possesses a sense of daring and energy, similar to a nobleman crossing mountains and rivers with his entourage.
The plants and flowers on either side of the rock serve as contrast, allowing the eye to focus on the peacocks. At the same time, the blank space in the upper left corner brings a delicate balance. The attention to color and composition led to this classical and moving scene.
