This painting is representative of Cubism. It was completed by this artist at the age of 54. Tsai divided up this scene into near distance and far distance sections, using different colors. There is a contrast of sophisticated analysis of the powerful peaks and compactness of the white clouds above them that forms an alternative type of harmony. This artist used flowing brushstrokes and bold colors, as well as a distinctive structure to reveal his personal style. It also reflects the trends in Western-style contemporary painting at that time, while not forsaking the control of form and structure of traditional painting.
