Bright blue, green and yellowish brown were used to depict Guanyin Mountain along the banks of the Tamsui River. The entire scene is unified by the pervasive use of cool colors. The homes at the foot of the mountain appear to have fused together with the natural mountain scenery. At the age of 65, this artist made use of dynamic and overlapping brushstrokes to create this scene of Nature being revived and refreshed. This was most likely inspired by late spring or early summer.
