The sky and clouds are reflected in the water collecting in the fields. It is as if the paddies reach toward the horizon in a transverse, repeated composition, extending into the distance. In the waters of the meandering river are reflected the hazy, halo like light that peers through the clouds. The sky appears to be clearing after the plum rains.
