A simple, semi-open pigpen features low railings. Outside the railings is a small thicket. This artist's lines are clear and beautiful, and the colors elegant. The pigs are gathered around a trough with piglets being nursed by their mother. This is an especially warm memory for viewers who grew up on a farm. These rotund pigs appear as a happy and warm family. The adult pigs are quiet and relaxed and each piglet is seeking a place from which to nurse. It is possible to comprehend the contentment and warmth.
