This artist completed this still life painting at the age of 23. The lines are gentle and subdued. The blue cloth with its many folds deepens the soft textures. Ordinary turnips and other vegetables and fruits are arranged in the rattan basket and scattered around it. This creates a leisurely atmosphere.
