Oil Painting

In this painting, Silent Valley, the steep cliffs of this valley were formed over thousands of years by the formation and erosion of rock strata. The opening between the imposing cliffs reveals majestic mountains beyond. There appear to be no traces of human activity or even animal activity in this valley. If it as if echoes are produced without uttering a sound. Even the sound of one's breathing can disturb this very tranquil setting.
Before this artist starts to paint, he first carefully observes and listens. He works hard to pursue the ever-changing foms and colors of Nature. Then, he uses oil paints to capture those forms, spaces, light, shadows and colors. This brings to his works profound meaning associated with traditional Chinese painting, as well as the purity and beauty of oil painting.
