This artist's expression of space is seen in the blue sky, distant mountains, dirt road, ditches along both sides of the road, farms and farmhouses. The sky consists of gradients of blue from top to bottom. The cloud layers are superimposed with several block shapes, enhancing the variations and proportions of the sky. The road surface is of flat color, namely strong yellowish orange hues. From the foreground, it extends to the horizon. To the left and right are ditches and fields in between the spring and summer seasons. Red brick houses look over these fields where physical labor is performed daily.
