Tianleng is located in Dongshi District of Taichung City. The artist looked for some time for a place from which to capture the variations in the mountain scenery, finally finding a suitable spot. He was very conscientious in developing the concept for this painting. Mainly cool colors were used to portray the foothills and plains. Dark colors were used to depict the mountains in the foreground, as well as those in the distance, creating the feeling of a warm day in the green central basin, which is the focal point of this painting. Warm colors were used for the homes that are scattered about and reveal the artist's fondness for this scene. Thick black lines and coordinated colors inspire an emotional response as the beauty of nature unfolds before your eyes.
