In this painting, Uong depicts the sparkling lights of Bitan at night from a bird's eye view. In the distance, there is the faint image of Bitan Bridge, which crosses the Xindian River. Through a riotous symphony of colors, this artist's reveals this Greater Taipei nightscape. The distorted rays of light in the sky are a sign that there will be a change in the weather. This almost seems to be a projection of the emotions this artist experienced moving away from his home on Kinmen to develop his art career.
Uong once said that, "Subconsciously, I want to paint the sparkling points in my heart." During the time of fighting, there was a mandatory curfew on Kinmen, and it was usually pitch dark at night. At the age of 15, this artist left Kinmen, arriving in Kaohsiung for the first time. He was immediately captivated by the beauty of the city's lights at night. Therefore, "fluid streets" and "sparkling nightscapes" have become important subjects for this professional painter.
