"Guilin's scenery is the best in the world."This is a common saying when describing Guilin. The magnificent scenery has a poetic, artistic quality, and it is a place where artists swarm to sketch and paint. The sky appears salmon-colored as the golden sun begins to descend. In the shadows, the purplish peaks overlap, creating a feeling of magic, but also sadness. The pink clouds that hang in the sky seem to have dyed the waters, turning them intogurgling, flowing colored cloth that encircles the peaks as night falls.
