作者簡介:生於北京。1949-1953在溥心畬大師家中受業、1953-1954 劉峨士老師指導，在臺中故宮摹古畫、1958以第一名成績畢業於羅馬國立藝術學院。

作者英文簡介:Born in Beijing, Liu Ho-pei (Monica Liu) studied under legendary master artist Aisin-Gioro Puru (Pu Xinyu) from 1949 to 1953, and was taught by Liu Eshi from 1953 to 1954. When the art treasures of the National Palace Museum were temporarily housed in Taichung, she created imitations of classic paintings. In 1958, she graduated as rhe first place in her class from Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.
