作者簡介:1938年生於九份大竿林地區，原經營五金生意，因被金屬材料的吸引與對故鄉九份的熱愛，透過金屬鐵片的色彩拼貼，以畫作方式來還原九份的美麗記憶。多次在地方舉辦個展聯展，創作釘畫無師自通的他，釘畫創作題材幾乎全是九份的人文、風景及日常生活的片斷。記錄九份最有生命力、最美的時代，讓它生生不息的傳承下去。

作者英文簡介:Hu Darfar was born in the Daganlin area of Jiufen in 1938. Hu was originally in the hardware business, but because of his fascination with metal materials and his love for his hometown of Jiufen, he has developed a painting style incorporating collages of metal plates, which hark back to fond memories of Jiufen. Many times he has held local individual and joint exhibitions. Self-taught in graphic art of Tin-Can, Hu has incorporated much of Jiufen's culture, scenery and snippets of everyday life into the subject matter of his metal art. He has recorded Jiufen's most vibrant and splendid era for ongoing posterity.
