This was a birthday gift presented by the Jianhua Society of the restaurants sector in Hong Kong, on November 5, 1971, when they returned country to participate in the celebration. The God of Longevity gold foil is displayed on a red acrylic panel in a glass case, wearing a robe with a Chinese character shou (longevity) design and holding a flat peach with both hands. Above the image, there is bat flying around, representing "blessing." The panel's four corners are decorated with gold foil ornaments. A dedication "Wish You a Very Happy 85th Birthday" is located on the upper right and on the lower left, "Respectfully, the celebratory team of Hong Kong Jianhua Society, members include: Huang Xiang, Head; Hou Jia, Deputy Head; Ou Shaoqi; Chen Jianying; Tan Wen; Wu Guangwei; Wu Bing; Jiang Yuncai; Li Ruiying; and Qiu Weiming." The base is also made from red acrylic panel on four supports with bird-shaped decorative patterns.
Overseas Chinese around the world have been toiled away at establishing families and businesses, mostly by labor, managing businesses, such as restaurants, clothing workshops, or barbershops, since the businesses use knives daily, they were also known as "three knives," i.e., kitchen knives, scissors, and razors. Hong Kong is located next to Guangdong and has attracted a large number of immigrants from there, and people in Hong Kong are used to have Quangdong-style eating; therefore, the restaurant industry prevailed.
