民國52年10月10日泰國海南會館回國參加慶典代表團所贈，外盒為墨綠色皮盒，內層上方櫬有白色絨布，下方襯以綠色絨布。銀製煙盒正面布滿花紋雕飾，中央為類似泰國四面佛之佛像，四角有飛天造型雕飾，盒身側面刻有「蔣中正總統賜存，泰國海南會館回國參加雙十慶典代表團獻贈，中華民國五十二年十月十日」字樣，背面邊緣刻有「THAINAKON STERLING THAILAND」。
泰國海南會館是經向泰國政府註冊，全國性的泰國海南鄉團最高機構，也是泰國九大華人社團中最有影響力的社團之一。它於1946年2月17日成立，由當時在曼谷的瓊州公所(既育民學校)、瓊島會所、工商聯合會合並而成。其宗旨是聯絡感情，交換知識，舉辦慈善公益、文化、教育，提倡體育及正當的娛樂，襄助慶吊，並為不動產所有人保管瓊屬公共財產，調停爭端，互謀會員福利與其他合法事務，不涉政治等。據會館資料記載，會員最少時有1600多人，最多時為5000多人，成為瓊屬旅泰鄉僑的最高領導機構。

The delegation of Hainan Association of Thailand attended the celebrations and presented this silver cigarette case as a gift on October 10, 1963. The outer case of this gift is a dark green leather box overlaid inside with white flannelette and underneath the case with green flannelette. The obverse side of the silver case is filled with decorative engravings, centered by a Buddhist image similar to a Phra Phrom of Thailand, and at the four corners, engraved with Flying Apsaras. The inscriptions of "To President Chiang" and "Respectfully, The delegation of Hainan Association of Thailand, October 10, 1963" are engraved on the flank of the case. On the edge of the back, there is inscription of "THAINAKON STERLING THAILAND."

Hainan Association of Thailand is a registered organization in Thailand, a national supreme body of Hainan overseas Chinese in Thailand, and one of the nine most influential Chinese communities in Thailand. It was established in February 17, 1946, by merging Qiongzhou Guild Hall (i.e., Yumin School), Qiong Island Guild Hall, and Commercial and Industrial Association. The aims of the Hainan Association are in touch with friends and exchange of knowledge; organizing activities of charity, culture, and education; promoting sports and legitimate entertainment; and assisting in celebratory and condolatory events. It is also a real estate owner to protect the public properties of Hainan Chinese, mediates disputes, and seeks mutual benefits among members and other legal matters; however, does not involve politics. According to the Association's records, its membership is 1,600 at the lowest point, and 5,000 at the highest point, becoming a leading association of Hainan overseas Chinese in Thailand.
