蔣中正總統對精於輿地，在辦公室中多半都會放中國地圖、世界地圖及航空圖。中華民國全圖的掛置，固然是有對地圖的喜好，更是表現其遙望河山，希望收復大陸的心意。

President was good at geography and would mostly keep the maps of China and the world, as well as aeronautical charts, in his office. A map of the Republic of China hanging on the wall reveals his love for the map, as well as overlooking the rivers and mountains of his country that he had every intention of recovering it.
