Introduction："Taiwu Mountain House" is located at a hillside of Taiwu Mountain, Kinmen. Since the government relocated to Taiwan, Chiang Kai-shek's heart was filled with longing for the mainland, and Kinmen was the outpost and the closest place of the battle to recapture the mainland. He went to Kinmen many times during his lifetime to make inspection tours to the bastion, or to inspire the morale of soldiers. Taiwu Mountain House therefore became President Chiang's temporary residence when he stayed in Kinmen. The house was considered the core area in Taiwu Mountain, where anyone should pass through many checkpoints to be able to gain access to.
This stele is quite valuable, because of Madame Chiang's inscriptions with autograph.
