Overview

Since 2012, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall has been dedicated to expanding and preserving our collections. These include valuable historical artifacts related to President Chiang Kai-shek, as well as an inspiring array of fine arts and cultural works generously gifted by contemporary artists.

Our collection relies entirely on voluntary donations. To maintain our professional standard, an expert curatorial committee carefully reviews every piece offered to the Hall. Once accepted, each work enters a meticulous care and management process, from cataloging and conservation to secure tracking.

Preserving these treasures is our core mission. We house them in advanced, climate-controlled facilities equipped with constant temperature and humidity systems, 24/7 security, automated fire suppression, and air purification. This ensures the perfect environment to safeguard our cultural heritage for future generations.

Because we believe culture belongs to everyone, we have fully digitized our archives with detailed stories and high-resolution images. Through our Digital Collections platform, you can easily explore the collection, discover resources, or apply for image licensing. We also bring these works to life through physical exhibitions and virtual galleries to celebrate the unique visions of our featured artists.

While continuously upgrading our collection policies and preservation facilities, we are actively creating art exhibitions that embrace new technologies. By seamlessly blending physical galleries with digital stories, we invite you to explore these works from fresh, diverse perspectives, and experience how history and art can enrich our everyday lives.
