Overview

National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is committed to systematically preserving and managing its collection. Our holdings focus on historical artifacts associated with President Chiang Kai-shek, alongside fine art works generously donated by artists worldwide.

We currently accept donations on a gift basis. To ensure professional rigor, all proposed gifts undergo formal evaluation by our Collection Advisory Committee. Once accepted, items are integrated into our comprehensive collection management system, covering registration, conservation, inventory auditing, and interpretation.

To ensure the longevity of these national cultural assets, our facilities feature climate-controlled storage, equipped with security, automated fire suppression, and air purification systems to provide a proper preservation environment.

We have compiled comprehensive object descriptions and digital images, establishing a collection search system for public viewing, reference, and image licensing. During this transitional period, alongside continuously refining our collection management system and storage facilities, we promote both physical  or online collection exhibitions to share our digital resources. By bringing history, art, and culture closer to everyday life, we strive to foster cultural accessibility and shared public enjoyment of our collection.
