Introduction:Whampoa Military Academy was established in 1924 and held school opening ceremony on June 16 the same year, which was the beginning of the National Revolutionary Army. In order to proclaim the Army's heroic deeds in the Eastern Expedition, the Northern Expedition, the Second Sino-Japanese War, and national construction, a set of postage stamps was issued in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Academy. The stamp with NT$1 denomination is designed with the image of Chiang Kai-shek dressed in military uniform and riding on a horse and the Academy in background to reflect the significance of his contribution in the founding of the Academy. The stamp with NT$14 denomination has images showing a row of majestic, powerful, orderliness, solemn cadets of modernized military academy holding a national flag and an Academy banner and marching in front of the Republic of China Military Academy located in Fengshan to demonstrate the 50-year development of the Military Academy.
