Introduction：The Constitution of the Republic of China was created and passed three readings in the National Assembly of the Republic of China, on December 25, 1946, to become law. Chiang Kai-shek, on behalf of the National Government, accepted the Constitution, which was explicitly announced on January 1, 1947, and came into force on December 25 the same year. Therefore, the Constitution Day of the Republic of China is normally observed on December the 25th. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the constitution, a set of commemorative stamps was issued on December 25, 1977, and the designs used the pictures of both the title page of the constitution and the historical footage that in 1946, Chiang Kai-shek, Chairman of Nationalist Government, was receiving the constitution in the National Assembly of the Republic of China. Hu Chongxian and Huang Jiong supplied the photographs, and Yan Qishi produced decorative borders and script.
