Introduction：A set of commemorative stamps was issued on October 31, 1956, to celebrate the 70th birthday of Chiang Kai-shek. This set of six stamps is designed with six patterns, which modeled on six Chiang Kai-shek's candid photos supplied by Hu Chongxian. Pi Dazhoung and Zuo Dewu finely drew a variety style of Chinese characters for "Longevity" in seal script on the frames of the stamps. This set of postage stamps is the earliest release among current collections of stamps about Chiang Kai-shek.
