Size:Length:3 x Width:4 (cm)
Introduction:Since the Chinese first postage stamp, "1st Customs Dragon Issue" (for short, Azure Dragon stamp) was introduced in the forth year (1878) of Guangxu era in the Qing dynasty, the evidence of payment of postage attained the age 100 in 1978. To mark the anniversary, a commemorative issue and a souvenir sheet of "Centennial of Chinese Postage Stamps" were released. In design of the stamps, images representing, respectively, the early, middle, and recent stages of Chinese postage stamps were selected, including the images of Azure Dragon stamp, a stamp of Sun Yat-sen's portrait (New York Issue), and a stamp of President Chiang's portrait, and produced a set of stamps in the style of "Stamp on Stamp." The souvenir sheet (44 x 102) consists of a row of the three stamps.
