Introduction:Hsiao Chin-Fa (1951- ) was born in Budai, Chiayi. A graduate of the School of Plastic Arts at the National Taiwan University of Arts, Hsiao's philosophy is to transform the spirit of external scenery into inner emotions. He advocates drawing creative experiences from immersion in nature and life, working with traditional ink painting techniques to create works rich in "Taiwanese flavor". Characterized by a majestic and bold style, his artworks often depict grand landscapes, reflecting his passionate expression of the local terrain.

Li Wo-Yuan (1957-) was born in Kinmen County. He graduated from the School of Arts at the Political Warfare College (now the National Defense University) and studied calligraphy at Beijing Normal University. Trained under Li Qi-Mao, Li Wo-Yuan specializes in ink painting, focusing on improving the use of water and ink. His creations, characterized by the imposing momentum, layers of mountains and distant clouds and mist, demonstrate skilled ink painting techniques. Deeply rooted in daily life, his creations break traditional boundaries by employing western perspective compositions, showing splendid colors and confidence.

Li Yuan-Qing (1957- ), also known as Shizhi, was born in Tainan. He graduated from the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts at Taiwan Normal University and a college in Paris, France. He teaches at Fu Jen Catholic University, and his philosophical and rich teaching style is beloved by students. Li Yuan-Qing's innovative painting style combines linear elements of calligraphy with modern painting. He integrates his concepts into landscape painting, depicting the atmosphere of air flow in a hazy manner. His works closely intertwine various life changes and emotional states, permeated with philosophical elements throughout.

These three painters are collectively known as the "Taiwanese Color Ink Trio". Through mutual learning and integration, they are creating new styles in ink painting. The current work reflects thick colors and ink, with varied and layered vegetation, drifting clouds, and a hazy sense of mountains and rivers. Composition, light, and atmosphere are ingeniously blended to show the grandeur of the view over the mountain ranges. The spectacular and ethereal painting is a rare masterpiece in landscape painting.
