Introduction：The stamp was issued on October 31, 1958, Chiang Kai-shek's 72nd birthday. It is designed with a bust image of President Chiang dressed in the uniform of a five-star general. The picture was taken in a military parade on National Day. The background is blue sky and a squadron of F 84 Thunderjet flying past, and on the right hand side, a row of ROC national flags flapping in the wind. It is spectacular. Hu Chongxian supplied the photograph used in design of the stamp.
