Introduction:In Believer, we can see a worshipping believer devoutly kneeling on the ground captured by the photographer on Bagua Mountain, Changhua. The person only occupies a small portion at the top of the picture taken from above, with the rest of the space in the darkness. The light comes from behind, and the believer’s elongated shadow becomes one with the darkness. The white part of the picture resembles an almond-shaped eye, as if representing the Great Buddha’s view from the top on the tiny believer. The tranquil space exudes a solemn and serious atmosphere, and the undisturbed respect of the person under spotlight is conveyed through the dramatic composition.
