Introduction:During his lifelong photographic journey, Chin maintained a respectful attitude. He always said humbly that his “works are not of creativity. These images are gifts from nature. Through his eyes and hands, the Creator just presses the shutter in the right environment, the right weather, and at appropriate moments.” Holding an open attitude towards life, Chin continued to shoot topics at an elder age, and constantly challenged his past to create new photographic styles. He hoped to utilize his specialty to convey the humanistic spirit of simple photography and put emphasis on the importance of aesthetics in Children’s education.

Taking pictures wherever he went, Chin said that photography was not his job, but his way of life. He recalled that in a thrilling car accident a few years ago, he did not forget to press the shutter button when the car rolled over. The mischievous photography master had great passion for photo making, chasing after every photographic opportunity and never getting tired of it.

He once travelled to Nepal to take pictures. On the streets of the capital Kathmandu, he also met the photographer Chien Yun-ping. What a small world for the greatness. On the streets of Kathmandu, he saw a sitting beggar with two dogs on both sides taking care of each other, one black and the other white. The beggar had a very contented expression. Chin photographed the moment, a work signifying that both of him and the beggar enjoy spiritual abundance.
