Description:By Xin Yu. Handwritten on 420-character manuscript paper, the left side of which is printed with the words "Youth Daily News Fax Manuscript Paper," the first page of which bears the words "Writer's Journal" and the last page of which includes a curriculum vitae. Completion date February 8, 1967; two pages.
This is a set of musings of the author on the eve of Chinese New Year, describing the scene of a holiday dinner he was invited to attend by a friend. The joyful mood he had been in before the get-together turned into a feeling of emptiness after reading a collection of Lu Yan's prose, which reminded him of his childhood in which he lacked his mother's love. That night, unable to fall asleep, he was reading Theater magazine and realized the cruelty of knowledge and the need for a system to exist.

2.這是一篇除夕夜的心情雜感，描寫除夕當天受邀參加友人晚餐聚會的情景。聚會前原本歡欣的心情因為讀了魯彥的散文集，聯想到自己缺乏母愛的童年而心生空泛之感。聚會結束後輾轉難眠，讀了《劇場》雜誌而體悟到知識的殘酷以及制度存在的必要。
3.辛鬱本名宓世森，另有筆名雪舫、古渡、白步、白涉、向彌、丁望、經楓、盛乃承，曾擔任前衛月刊、創世紀詩刊、人與社會等刊物編委。為著名詩人，曾獲國軍文藝金像獎長詩銀像獎。
