Description:By Qiu Gerong. Handwritten on 500-character green manuscript paper made by Fu Chun Cultural Industries Co., Ltd. and printed with the phrase "Friendship through writing; aid through friendship." Four sheets with five pages bearing handwritten text (the fourth sheet has only half a page of text, handwritten on both sides).

To provide a full outline of the state of children's literature in post-war Taiwan, Qiu Gerong, following the 1990 publication of A History of Children's Literature (First Draft), 1945-1989, set out to write more detailed and in-depth outlines of important figures influencing the development of children's literature in Taiwan. To this end, he embarked on a project to write Children's Literary Workers of Taiwan. This manuscript is a handwritten summary of the structure of this project. On the first page, the author lays out which items the work should cover, including photographs, accomplishments, literary timelines, writer profiles, personal introductions and his own commentaries on children's literature. The remaining four pages consist of a roster of 50 children's literary workers, in preparation for writing his descriptions. The first name is Zheng Qingwen and the last is the late Zhang Jianming. This handwritten work was published in 2002 under the title People Spreading Hope: Children's Literary Workers of Taiwan, but the structure of its content deviates slightly from the author's initial conception: the descriptions of the literary figures are ordered according to birth year, the first being You Mijian (1897 – 1971) and the last Zhao Yingxue (1963 – ). But this does not reduce its value as a monograph of the history of Taiwan children's literature.

為了完整勾勒戰後台灣兒童文學的面貌，邱各容於1990年出版《兒童文學史料初稿1945-1989》之後，立意更加詳實且深入地繪寫影響台灣兒文發展的重要人物素描，故擬定「台灣兒童文學工作者群像」撰寫計畫，此份手稿的內容即為該計畫的書寫架構與體例提要。作者在手稿第一頁提出「台灣兒童文學工作者群像」應涵蓋哪些項目，包括照片、事蹟、文學年表、著作書影、個人簡介以及其對於兒童文學的詮釋；其餘四頁則是羅列出準備報導的50位兒童文學工作者名單，第1位為鄭清文，第50位則是已過世的張劍鳴。此一書寫成果於2002年以《播種希望的人們──台灣兒童文學工作者群像》為題出版，內容結構與作者當初的構想略有不同，報導人物的順序也因按照出生年序而有所調整，第1位為游彌堅（1897-1971），第50位為趙映雪（1963-），然仍無損其台灣兒童文學史料專著的重要價值。
