Description:This manuscript is Huang Wuzhong’s MA thesis when he was studying at the Research Institute of the Department of Chinese of National Sun Yat-sen University and is the basis for “A Critical Biography of Hong Xingfu.” Huang was one of the early extra-institutional researchers in Taiwan literature and gained a great deal of experience in field surveys, as well as coming to his own unique and penetrating literary views. He entered Sun Yat-sen University in 2001 to sit for an MA degree, taking as his research topic the work of Hong Xingfu, material he had studied for many years and in the complete compilation of which he had participated. In writing this MA thesis Huang explored Hong Xingfu’s work from several aspects: “literary growth,” “formation of a literary and creative conception,” “personality and literary style,” and “fictional character imagery.”

摘要:本手稿為黃武忠攻讀中山大學中研所之碩士論文，亦為《洪醒夫評傳》之所本。黃氏為早期學院外台灣文學研究者之一，累積有豐富田野調查經驗，以及獨到而深入的文學見解；2001年入中山大學攻讀碩士學位，即以其研究多年並參與全集資料編纂之洪醒夫作品為研究對象，撰寫本論文，分別從洪醒夫的「文學成長進程」、「文學觀與創作觀的形成」、「人格與作品風格」、「小說人物圖像」等面向探討洪醒夫作品內涵。
