Description:This floor plan of Tainan Prefecture Hall by an unknown artist is part of a four-diagram collection held by Chang Po-shuo, a member of a renowned family of architects in Tainan City. The drawing shows a sectional view of the main building, which is the longest one in the collection. Now used by the National Museum of Taiwan Literature as its main gallery space, Tainan Prefecture Hall was designed by Japanese architect Matsunosuke MORIYAMA (1869-1949) and was completed in 1916. From the sectional view, it is clear that the building was designed to contain three stories. According to research by modern architects, the building was initially intended as an ancillary prefectural office, with a reception room, the general affairs department, and a guard’s room on the ground floor. The floor plan mostly matches the current layout of the building, with most of the offices and rooms now converted into galleries. Several structural changes have been made since the period of Japanese rule. However, the core design, including the roof, remains unaltered.

3.繪圖者不明，藍曬圖，原由府城建築世家張博碩所藏，全圖共4張，此張為剖視圖，也是最長的一張。台南州廳為國立台灣文學館前身，由日人森山松之助（1869-1949）設計，落成啟用於大正5年（1916），從剖視圖看來有三層，根據建築學者考察，初落成州廳原要作為台南廳舍，一樓主有接待室、庶務課事務室與警衛課事務室等，目前皆能對應台灣文學館的使用空間，如今多成為展覽廳。整體來看，自日治到戰後，建築本體幾經變革，構造上多有改變，惟在核心設計上如屋頂等未予起修改。
