- GDESC:雌雄同型。虹膜深褐色。嘴黃褐，上、下嘴峰暗褐色。腳暗黃褐色。成鳥體上為一致的欖綠色，腰及尾上覆羽偏綠，通常有1條淡色翼帶，中覆羽羽尖淡色、另形成1條模糊短翼帶，此兩翼帶常因磨損而時有時無。眉線黃白色、通常未達嘴基，過眼線黑褐色。體下污白，脇略帶欖褐色，有髒污感。各亞種間羽色略有差異。活潑好動，常單獨活動於大樹上層，亦常與綠繡眼、雀科等小型鳥類混群，在樹枝間做短距離快速移動。於枝葉間覓食小型昆蟲、幼蟲及蟲卵，也吃嫩葉，種籽及小漿果。快速、尖銳似蟲鳴般「唧唧唧唧⋯」或「zizi zi zi⋯」連續音。度冬期伴隨著活動常有短促、略粗啞「欺、欺」或「dzit、dzit」叫聲。
  棲地介紹：度冬期於低海拔闊葉林、丘陵山麓及平地樹林、村落庭園或公園喬木上。
