- GDESC:　　此份標本採集時間為1983年5月17日，採集地點陽明山，標本具有花、葉特徵，但是花序保留太短。常綠灌木，1-2公尺高，枝光滑。葉長圓形，長圓形-披針形或橢圓形，葉尖銳尖至漸尖，基部楔形；側脈8-11對；托葉三角形至廣三角形，4-6毫米長。花序為頂生的聚繖；花白色，3-5毫米長，直徑4-5毫米，雌雄異株；雄花花萼淡綠色，五齒，花冠綠白色，杯狀，雌花形態近雄花，具假雄蕊。果球形，直徑4-8毫米，成熟時為紅色、橘色-紅色。
  　　
  　　中國南部、海南島，琉球群島至日本。臺灣全島分布於闊葉林內。
