    • GDESC:保育等級：International Union for Conservation of Nature紅皮書中屬低危物種(Least Concern)類別。

      型態：體背毛色為土黃色，接近尾部顏色漸深，喉部則為鮮豔黃色，四肢為黑色，腹部則為白色。體型修長成圓桶狀。

      生態：主要是肉食性，捕捉鳥、鼠、蛇、蜥蜴等小動物，但也會群體合作獵殺山羌、山羊等較大型動物，再分而食之；偶亦取食漿果或蜂蜜。多棲息於2000公尺左右山區，偶亦在高海拔被發現，棲息於闊葉林、針葉林及箭竹林。多群居，經常三兩成群，偶有五到七隻成群。國際上族群數量穩定，但在台灣則列為二級保育類。

      形質：體長44到46公分，尾長35到37公分。

      標本資訊：本件標本吻肛長45公分，尾長34公分。乾燥保存。
